
19th Annual POP Summer Concert Series Returns to Prince of Peace
Spokane, WA—Prince of Peace Lutheran Church is pleased to announce the19th annual POP Summer Concert Series in July. The concerts are held on the hillside lawn of the church, located at 8441 N. Indian Trail Road. These popular, family-friendly events are offered free-of-charge as an outreach to the community.
The series kicks off Tuesday, July 8th at 6:30 PM with the Heather King Duo performing country and pop favorites. Big Phat Band takes the stage July 15th with 80’s classic rock hits. Ben Klein returns as Elvis on July 22nd, and Soul Proprietor finishes the series on July 29th with funk and soul. The series is partially underwritten through a Community Engagement Grant secured by concert partners North Indian Trail Neighborhood Council, and an outreach grant from Advent Lutheran Church.
This year, attendees are invited to bring non-perishable food donations for the Prince of Peace free food pantry that serves local neighborhood residents. Donations will be accepted at all four concerts.
