20th Annual POP Summer Concert Series Returns to Prince of Peace
Spokane, WA—Prince of Peace Lutheran Church is pleased to announce the 20th annual POP Summer Concert Series in July. The concerts are held on the hillside lawn of the church, located at 8441 N. Indian Trail Road. These popular, family-friendly events are offered free-of-charge as an outreach to the community.
The series kicks off Tuesday, July 7th at 6:30 PM with the Dueling Cronkites-Classic Rock & Americana. Slapshot takes the stage July 14th with Classic Rock, Blues & More. Big Phat Band returns on July 21nd with 80’s POP & Rock Hits, and Sonic Groove finishes the series on July 28th with 90’s to Current Rock/ Alternative. The series is partially underwritten through a Community Engagement Grant secured by concert partners North Indian Trail Neighborhood Council, and an outreach grant from Advent Lutheran Church. Private Sponsorships have also been helpful in covering the costs of bands.
