Preschool

Mission Statement

Prince of Peace Christian Preschool exists to provide children with a strong Christian centered education under the guidance and example of dedicated, loving Christian teachers. We believe that Christianity is relevant to every area of life, and that we have a responsibility to train each child in our care spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically.

Philosophy

We understand and respect the need for self-directed play while preparing children responsibly for Kindergarten. Our program also treasures natural curiosity and creativity. Prince of Peace utilizes the “Handwriting Without Tears” program as the core of our writing and literacy experiences. We have designed our materials to help children master Pre-K skills and meet benchmarks. Materials are carefully and cohesively designed so children are well prepared for Kindergarten

Please Note: Registration for the Fall 2024 School Year opens to the general public on March 4, 2024. Classes fill quickly so register promptly.

General Information

POP's Preschool year runs from September through the end of May (classes generally follow the District #81 calendar). Tuition is due the first class day of every month and remains the same, regardless of your child’s attendance or the number of school days in the month.

Prince of Peace Christian Preschool admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs and athletic and other school-administered programs.
